The Lauren Faye School of Dance opened its doors in January 2014 offering friendly and professional dance tuition in a variety of subjects. Principal, Lauren Tibbott, along with a strong teaching faculty, provides commitment and a depth of knowledge to all of our students and enjoys watching them progress. Lauren, along with her team, enjoy welcoming new students to the school. We love watching and supporting all our pupils to develop and flourish.

We offer a wide range of classes for both boys and girls from 2 years of age.

The School provides experience in Ballet, Tap, Contemporary Modern Jazz, Theatre Craft, Musical Theatre,  Acro, Street, Cheerleading and Contemporary.

Children have the opportunity to take part in IDTA Examinations,  Annual Shows and various Fund Raising and Community events. For those students wishing to perform on a more professional level, we offer extra tuition allowing these students to join our competition teams or work one to one on solo routines to enter into festivals and competitions throughout the year.

We welcome you to come along and join our dance family. Make new friends but most of all share our love of  dance.

Meet The Team

Miss Lauren

Principal, LIDTA

Having trained in dance and competed across the country since an early age, I always knew I wanted to teach and pass on my passion for dance.  After teaching and choreographing at various local dance and theatre schools I decided to open the Lauren Faye School of Dance. I pride myself in running a fun and friendly dance school and am so proud of how far our students have come since they very first walked into the studio.

I am currently qualified to Licentiate level with the IDTA and also hold Exercise to Music qualifications. I am an experienced festival adjudicator, adjudicating across the country several times a year as well as organising and hosting many festivals in the local area.

Miss Fay

I trained from a young age at Katie Philpott’s School of Dance, then from the age of 16 I began teaching street dance and leading classes for younger students at the school. I regularly work in Primary schools across the area delivering dance.

At college, I gained a distinction star in both Dance and Musical Theatre.

I have choreographed productions and performances for several local state and theatre schools.

I have been a teacher at the Lauren Faye School for over  year now and really enjoy working with all the students.

Miss Ella

Teacher of Dance

I started training at the Adele Taylor school of Dance from being 2 years old. I was involved in shows, exams and a lot of competitions from a young age. I have always had a passion for dance and I knew from a young age that I wanted to become a dance teacher. I started assisting classes when I was 16 years old and then started teaching my own classes when I was 17. I have also recently passed my Level 4 Diploma in Dance Teaching and I am very excited to develop my teaching skills by taking higher exams in the near future.
